This week, WilderBeast has been in training and I am pleased to say he has finished his task successfully. He can now jump off speed tables in second gear! ;D What a good bike.
I have also found the cause of the odd steering he suffers that I mentioned in an earlier thread. According to Dunlop's website, the sportsmart qualifier tyre I have on the front is designed to act like a race track tyre and allow flip-flop turning. Pretty rubbish if your race track is actually a commute through London suburbs with no Druids bends etc.

Were you a hooligan who chose an MT-03 or did it bring out the hooligan in you?

I think it brought the hooligan out in me again!!
Last hooliganism era was my naked CBR600 with raised bars in true rat/street bike fettle 1994-2000

Well wheelbuilders do say that they "lace up" a wheel.

Think you are out of step with that comment and will need to be brought to heel.
Don't think I can give up my day job and become a comedian.

mt-03s bring out the hooligan in you ;) mine makes me do wheelys which just cost me £116 for a chain and sprocket set :o Had a nice grinding sound and snapped all the teeth off the front sprocket ;D
-
....and snapped all the teeth off the front sprocket ;D
WHAT! flipping heck, what's it knocking out, 400bhp? ;) :D :D

A mere 48hp: more power Mr Sulu, please
Mine appears to be eating it's cushdrive, so that will accelerate the chain & sprocket wear and then the teeth may fall off....? Maybe thats what happened to Gremlin's one?
-
My MT-03 ate the cush drive rubbers, chain & sprockets & rear wheel bearings!...Bit of a cock up on the design front, me thinks.
-
Dear Mr HC everyone worth their salt knows it is "Scotty" and not Mr Sulu thats "given herrrrr 110% ana she canna take any morrrrrrhhh cap'n"

And while we are on that subject:
