Title: XBR 500 choke cable
Post by: pete on June 14, 2010, 03:09:29 PM
Hi to all Thumps. My choke cable is splitting and seizing up.Can anyone recommend where to get a new one fastish.I use the bike daily to get to work and back...and a walking is more cardio than i care to endure.eBay seems a bit sparse at the moment.

Try David Silver, I've found his service excellent.

I think Honda actually discontinued the genuine item so you have to make do with an Emco aftermarket one these days.

Another vote for Wemoto - I've always found their parts excellent and service very quick.

The bugger is I'm short of the little brass plunger and spring. Lost loads and sold my last decent one to Smudge a couple of years ago.
