Things in the Onepot household are such that some of my bikes must be sold pronto.
On Ebay at the moment are my CB500 (see HERE (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300430842341&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT))
and that flipping Jawa my brother bought a few moths ago (see HERE (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300430850912&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT))
It will be interesting to see how the Jawa does, I know nothing about 2-strokes, especially Eastern Bloc ones.
My GB500 will be the next to be sold, once I get the newly-repaired front wheel back from the wheel builders.

You shuld have said, I was after a Jawa but bought another MZ instead.
Are you selling the sidecar with it ?
Richard
-
Sidecar can be included, the chassis is ok and the tub has just been repainted gloss black. Not sure how much extra that would be but if you're interested PM me.

Jawa has two bids on it, whereas my blindingly reliable Honda has 32 watchers and no bids. You just can't tell what's going to sell eh?
GC

Too late, I already bought the MZ. I gave up waiting for a cheap chair to come along.
Its like waiting for a bus then deciding to walk to the next stop............
Richard
-
But he still wants a chair...so who's going to fit that chassis Julian has for him?
lol

The CB is provisionally sold, I have a deposit and he will pay the balance after a test ride. The bike is in my garden at the moment and getting it out into the lane is an involved job so he will have to come back again.
The Jawa still hovers around £200. I fitted some indicators to it today and also started it up. Sounds fine.

So as far as the Jawa goes why does your listing say Manufacturer: Honda ?
I don't think it is you know.
Richard
PS. Bloody annoying, I would have snapped that up instead of the blue MZ.
-
Not to worry mate, I bet there's loads more complete Jawa 350s out there with 488 miles on the clock ;) :D
Hey, aren't the electrics primitive eh? I was fannying about with the indicator wiring and it just made me laugh. I think some of my cable routing is neater than the factory's :D

I have come to the conclusion that the Jawa and I have developed some sort of Stockholm Syndrome relationship. The longer we're cooped up together the more I get to like it. I was polishing the crankcases on it yesterday and got a warm glow of satisfaction at the end of the job.
Brrrrrrr, get a grip Carrick :D :D :D

What are you gripping?, surely not over a Jawa. :o

LOL! it hasn't got that far yet mate... and thankfully there's only 2 days left on the auction so an end is in sight.
The CB just got picked up. I only got £600 for it and I think he got a real deal for that, the CB has been been amazingly reliable and good fun to ride. Closer examination revealed that the mileage was probably accurate (there's an odd mileage given on one of the MOTs, but it looks to be a typo) and therefore the bike has only done 10,000 miles. Hmmm... perhaps I should have done better on that deal :-\
Jawa is set to go too and then it's back to finishing off the GB, which looks rather nice these days. I'm hoping for a good sale price on the GB.
After that frenzy of selling I will be left with a garage full of ratty XBRs... so no change there then.

I just rode the Jawa around my garden (not as impressive as it sounds, 1st gear was sufficient). Aren't two strokes smelly eh?
1 day left on the auction and 41 watchers. Should be intersting.

Here's the beast. I rode it around the block to the front of my house in anticipation of a winning bidder wanting to take it away. I actually managed to use three of the gears on offer, but not having ridden a Jawa before I can't tell if it's gutless or fine :-\

And yes the sunshine and a low res camera are doing wonders for its looks ;)

I have to hand it to my wife, she keeps her front shrubbery in fine fettle ;)
Jawa sold for £281 to someone from Southampton who specialises in Jawas.

The buyer eventually decided that he didn't want the bike :(
I have relisted (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300451965278) it for a reduced figure because on a recent visit to Onepot Villas, Jethro pointed out that the red light that stays on was the charging light, doh! It's also taken to only starting and running on one cylinder... which seems entirely apt given who owns it ;)
All in all I'm getting a bit fed of the bike being here and Mrs Onepot is considerably less amused at it being parked outside our front door.

Aah! Pubic Topiary. Always, if you'll pardon the pun, a perennial favourite.
