Webley Hurricane to be precise. Picked it up years ago and promptly lost the breech seal.
Guess what? Cut down 6mm fuel line works just fine.
Also had a broken trigger guard. Made a new one from 5mm mild steel. Looks a bugger but it works. Managed to recapture that moment of inevitable frustration when all the trigger parts erupt and seek refuge in the darker recesses of the shed. Oh the joy of searching for the one vital component amongst the detritus. Then of course there is the 'how does it go back together?' moments.
But when its done there is no better feeling than the satisfaction of a successful tinkering session .
I love tinkering me.

Read that link as show cat image - looked and could not find the cat - then realised it was the catalog image not an image of the poor moggie being shot
