Biking ops aborted, stop, Enemy (SWMBO) had info on planned fettling session, all ops cancelled till further notice, stop.
Saturday spent guarding small VIPs, stop.
Sunday spent in hush hush dash to location of agent 'Rog', stop.
The safe house seems more than suitable and has all comforts. Combined visit with recon mission to workshops of agency 4x4 specialist who provided us with an experimental carburettor for the venerable field vehicle (gratis), stop.
Afternoon spent with aged relatives, stop.
Bit pissed now, stop.

all single ops cancelled, a higher authority (SWMBO) has decreed that from date of this despatch, ALL ops will be combined forces, under higher authority's direct control.
no repeat NO clandestine or unauthorised ops will be undertaken.

Bollocks, this is going to hurt club funds, we'll have to pay out again for someone to do the job properly. All we said to the driver was "make sure he'e only got a single to ride to next year's rally" and then he goes and makes a hash of it and the Beemer escapes. Ho hum
