Title: indicator problem

indicators on my srx wont flash unless the engine is excelerating...does anyone know why this is? can it be a sign of a fault rectifier...?

You are short of power somewhere.

Does the headlight work? What's the voltage at the battery engine off, idle and half throttle? How many volts across the flasher relay (which I assume is mechanical?)?
