My eldest has started hinting about going pillion, anyone got a recommendation as to where to get him reasonably priced gear?

Aldi and Lidl periodically do bike gear, and it's not bad at all.
Other than that, I have used Busters Accessories but of course you can't try the stuff on.

Steve,
My Lidl jacket is good, they do boots, gloves etc but I'm not sure the sizes go down enough. I got a jacket from a shop in Matlock Bath which you can borrow (only because the girls will need it). Boot wise are they big enough for the smaller Sarnau surplus yet ?
I have some size 8 safety boots you can have but they are probably still way too big.

How old is he ?
maybe something like this?
Bering Jacket (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-BERING-PREMIUM-CHILDRENS-MOTORCYCLE-JACKET-AGE-12_W0QQitemZ370333764792QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Clothing?hash=item56399cccb8)
Lidl gear is pretty good but I'm not sure if they have childrens sizes. Not so sure about their helmet/gloves but jackets/ trousers are fine.

Try these. Not used them but the range looks good.

I have used them for my Grandson and Grandaughter, their stuff is very good and sensibly sized. Sometimes, I think it is purely at the lady who runs the companies discretion, she will make an allowance on larger gear for earlier (bought from her) smaller gear. Clumsy way of saying you can trade in the smaller (grown out of) gear for larger stuff. She always used to be at Builth Show so Rory's outgrown stuff was swapped there until Kym came along and then it was just handed down. I will check and see what's still at my daughters, I know there was Leather Jackets, jeans and boots at one time.
