Is anyone else fed up of being bloody cold?
It doesn't help that I live in an Edwardian stone-built semi, which is very hard to heat. I've taken to wearing my down jacket indoors ::)

Yes I feel cold as well Im sitting next to my gas fire and I have switched my electric underblanket on.

Try some undies and moleskin trews too - the little short skirt and fishnets looks OK (If you like that sort of thing) but does little to keep you warm. I understand that Mrs Onepot, understands these needs of yours, but maybe the winter is not the best time?
You think your house is hard to heat.... ;D

Nope, it starts to affect all us old duffers :P ;) ;D
Not fed up with it, just dealing with it... copy the older generation, wear lots of loose thin layers etc etc
Moleskins are good, wool is good, tattersal (sp?) shirts are great over a t-shirt or whatever. Also what our forebears used to do is heat one room properly and sod the ones you're not using, this thing of having the whole house warm enough to wander about in a t-shirt is a very modern idea based around universal central heating and cheap fuel... which may not last! :o

Wife has stolen my Snugpak Sleeka jacket. Gas bill is awesomely large.
Stone house, carp windows, Wales - bad combination.
A young looking lad came to my house to sell me new double glazing last year, telling me just how bad the existing ones were. All was going well until I realised he was from the same company that had put in the old ones that he was now slagging off.
