Title: SR500 Head

Does anyone know if its possible to remove the cylinder head from an SR500 with the engine still in the frame? The Haynes manual lists this task as one requiring the whole engine to be removed first, which if correct is going to be a complete ballache!

not sr specific, but:
 if its quite close, taking the mounting bolts out and letting the engine rest on the bottom frame tubes can give you that little bit of extra space.
