Post by: squirrelciv on December 24, 2009, 07:04:09 PM
Best of the season to all of you.

I plan on being in residence all over the festive holidays, if anyone wants a mince pie or a cold turkey sandwich, just let me know when you'll get here ;D

Anyone planning a get together??

Best of the season to all of you.

And the same to you Pat and all on the Forum,

Pat, see you in the New Year for sure, There are a couple of VMCC rides I hear this weekend, but as the bike has to be at least 25 years old, it limits the entry. Should be at Norman's on Sunday though.

Guys, I can't get to Cowbridge :'(

VX has died (Christmas Eve) and I'm going to have to strip the carbs down. She's been playing up for a while now, smelling of petrol (sometimes leeking out the carb overflow) and stuttering on the first quarter inch of throttle. After crawling down malpas road in the ice (mainly 1st gear and the first quarter inch of throttle) things got worse and the following day she just refused to start.

So if your heading for Cowbridge, but fancy a [free] cuppa with a slice of Christmas cake/mince pie, pop in.

Just got back from a fantastic chrimbo break in scenic Llangattock, only an hour's drive from where I live, but a different world. We woke up to snow-covered hills on christmas day and it was all luuuuurvely.

Happy (belated) christmas to you all and all the best for 2010.
