Title: Re. Featherbed XBR500 in photos section
Post by: guest7 on September 27, 2009, 02:57:03 PM
This was featured in one of our early newsletters. The bloke (Don Simpson?) made it using an ex-Owen Greenwood Manx chassis (yes seriously!) that he shortened by over 4 inches to make the XBR motor fit properly.

I remember chatting to him about the bike and he seemed like a really sound bloke.

Lovely looking bike, you can see the same piccy in Gallery 1, but sadly I haven't seen any others of it.

p.s. Anyone know how to pick up an image address using a Mac? I'd ordinarily just right click (on my PC) and click on 'Save image address', but I'm using our fancy new Mac and it just ain't the same (although mostly it's better).

Hi GC

With a Mac, if you want the right button functions, hold the cmd (apple) key when you click.  Can also pug in your PC mouse if it is USB and use that to.
