Title: SRX400 - XT550 PISTON

Would you like to help with my problem - as i'm having trouble finding an oversize srx400 piston or a good standard cylinder - i'm now considering using an xt550 (92mm) piston , i think the liner will take it , does anyone know the distance from the gudgeon pin to the crown i think the 400 is 17mm ? the swept volume would go to 446cc and compression ratio would go from 9.2 to 1 , to about 10.2 to 1 which should be quite healthy , your comments would be much appreciated.

Hi, give www.cnsnl.com a try. I've just had a look and they list std and oversize piston,around 110 euro for bare piston.
