I must say I rather like these. Sound engine for which the bits are readily available.
Surely there must be a Thumperista out there who wants to fly a different flag.

Not exactly my cup of tea, but not bad. Decided to have a look around fleabay to see what else was there, 290320248089 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290320248089&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2F290320248089%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm38%26_nkw%3D290320248089%26_naf%3D1%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1) for those with a VERY deep pocket!! Egli Vincent Replica.

Something else which should have the NOC frothing at the mouth, 170337200483 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170337200483&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2F170337200483%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm38%26_nkw%3D170337200483%26_naf%3D1%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1), a Norton Manxman 250!!!! Found the site that sells these things www.eco-wheels.com/norton villiers, have a look but don't blame me if you feel like throwing up.

Erm, without wishing to appear picky, aren't the frame. forks and wheels different to a Saxon Tour?

I thought they were very different... but I've been wrong before ::)
The Silver Star is right up on my 'want-to-own-one' list, it's a great little bike. The Saxon Tour is a nice bike, but it doesn't have (imho) the same charisma as the Star.

Well I've never seen one with its clothes off but they certainly look different.
Excellent MZ brake - Brembo clone.
Luvverly handling.
I need another bike like a hole in my head.

Hummmmm
Keep looking at this and wondering - ummmmmm
With a skim of the head / head gasket etc and the 675 cam I have in the shed, flatter bars....
Mind to upper 40's bhp
Probably too small for me...

I'll collect my outer garments>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

actually they are the same frame with a down tube fitted the wheels are the spoked ETZ item, apart from that and the motor there is precious little difference under the skin

I stand corrected...
if you don't mind me asking, where did you get that anorak? ;) :)
GC
-
Probably from the same outlet as you got yours , ;D ;)
If the Mz single had looked more like the Star , I think they would have sold so much better .Can't take to the lumpy look of the Tour . I recall an article in Classic Motorcycle on a Star with a Watsonian nailed to it . Don't recall the chair , but involved a run to Utrecht I think .

And still got the enclosed chain too....................
One of the best ideas rarely to grace other machinery.

Another to add to the sig - mmm my thoughts exactly

That'll be after the customary divining session at 03:00 hrs, whilst locating random guy ropes, tent pegs, etc! Are rollocks! :-X

If you mean cycling shorts / cycling underwear with the chamois pad... yup and I wouldn't cycle any distance without them given the choice. Great invention, also good for less than confortable motorbikes ;)
Aldi's were selling some cheap the other week, dunno if they'll have any left though?
-
Aye GC and Smudge,
Sussed on both counts, must visit Aldi's!
Regards, Bill ;D
