Title: Caning an XT500
Post by: guest7 on April 22, 2009, 09:16:37 PM
I just found this image:

And here's another loon on one:

And, I hate to admit it, I sort of think this is a waste of a Seeley chassis:

Very, very pretty though.

Aye GC,

"I hate to admit it, I sort of think this is a waste of a Seeley chassis"

Touch of snobbery there, 'Old Fruit'? ;)

that seeley chassis is ideally suited to a powerful brit engine.

the engine could happily blow its crank out the bottom without taking any paint off the frame.

its a shame XT's are too valuable to give a good thrapping, one on e-bay was for sale for £5000!

An old fruit that rides Hondas, where is the grounds for snobbery?  ::)

Hi Guys,

Get yourselves to Baskerville Hall Hotel in Clyro Hay on Wye, May 8-10 to for the UK's 1st XT meeting, to see 30+ XT's ranging from the original 76's to later 600/660's from as far as belgium, makes for a cracking weekend, might get a few riders replicating the picture in the posting.

Want to know more.
