This is for sale on Ebay and I have to say, it's lovely:

Some bikes really don't suit being hitched to a chair, but imho the K series bikes (especially with this fairing) look the bollocks with LL forks and smaller wheels:

Mind you, the seller wants £4,250! (See auction HERE (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-K-100-RS-WASP-SIDECAR-COMBINATION_W0QQitemZ330320773089QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycles?hash=item330320773089&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318)).
And yes, I do have a sidecar the same as the one pictured, until tomorrow (Sunday) lunchtime when the buyer comes to collect it :'(
The buyer is travelling down to South Wales from near Dundee!
Cheers

A what?!? ???
Time for your medication Mr Edwards! ;)

Aye Smudge,
Agreed!
Friend has a K75S, and its a lardy great 520lb machine! ??? Goes well down the autobahn or A roads, but take it on a B road or less and it's a pain.
If he puts it up for sale, I'll let Steffan know. ;)
Toodle pip, Bill.

Ahh yes, isn't the K75 the one that smokes on startup if you use the sidestand? :o

Just got rid of an k100rs. great bike for motorways but take it on bendy bumpy A roads or less and it becomes hard work. the srx could run rings around it. basically it wasn't FUN and I began to avoid riding it.
Shouldn't complain tho' as it was cheap reliable motoring and yes it did smoke if left on side stand when hot.

So do the r series oil or air heads..

Exactly! Any bike that smokes like that from new is not one which impresses me with it's fine engineering!
Also a bl**dy expensive tank badge given that it's really just a poor version of a late eighties jap four... ;)
