Well Chaps,
On Saturday night , forced onto the port and cheese it was suggested we play a few old studenty drinking games. The easiest to follow is where a subject is selected and each player either adds to the list or takes a drink. Now my dear wife was either ****ed already, can't count to four or didn't understand the rules and selected ABBA band members as the first subject. Fifteen seconds later I've won the round and she's having a drink. Picking a subject I knew my mate would be good at we then went on for an hour and about 100 answers.
Now, thinks I, this is a drinking game you can play on line and I know some people who'd be good at it ;D
So, same subject as Saturday: War films
And the first answer: The Great Escape
Don't forget, its take a drink if you can't answer or repeat and answer.
Carry on chaps.

Don't want to be a party pooper, even though in truth I am about to be one, but isn't this a bit too easy?* If you just want to reel off names of war films I'll get my Halliwell's Film Guide out and produce a definitive list. Or we could make the entries follow on in a logical sort of way - same actors/director/writer, same conflict, 'title' begins/ends with etc. etc. (you could specify if not obvious).
Who needs those poncy 'Brain Trainers' when you've got the Thumper Club?
So to re-start.
Battle of the River Plate
If you think I'm a pretentious git I apologise ??? ??? ???
Boyd
* probably not so easy if you are actually in the pub!
-
Angels one five .
{Both this film and Battle of the River Plate starred John Gregson }
-
Twelve O'clock High
Gregory Peck.

Come and See
-
I agree with Boyd, Maybe we can limit it to a singe era conflict
anyhows how about
Gallipoli. (WW1)
and
Breaker Morant (Boer)
and
Rats OF Tobruk (WWII)
and
Platoon (Vietnam)
-
It's easy now, but by my count your only about half way. When you get to 100 then you can call it easy!
