Without wishing to sound bossy, snooty or show-offy.
Jules, what you could do next time if you want to use an image (on the web) is:
Right click on image
Select 'copy image address'
when you write your post, use the image button ((http://www.thumperclub.com/smf/Themes/ThumperClubv11/images/bbc/img.gif)) and then paste* the image address you copied.
This would have allowed you use just the photo of the real jethro instead of both the images and all the text.

I've just tried what you explained and come up with nothing,

(Note: the following is PC specific, would someone like to add the Mac info on how to do the same job?)
Are you clicking on an image that's on a website?
If I go back to an earlier post in this thread and right click on the photo of handsome Jethro, I see this menu:

You can see that 'copy image address' is one of the options. Clicking this will copy the internet address of the picture.
The img ((http://www.thumperclub.com/smf/Themes/ThumperClubv11/images/bbc/img.gif)) option on this forum only allows you to link to pictures stored on the internet. That's why when you click on (http://www.thumperclub.com/smf/Themes/ThumperClubv11/images/bbc/img.gif) you then have to enter the image address between the [img] tags.
What you can't do on this forum is to upload a picture directly from your PC.
If you want to use a picture that is stored on your PC (and not already on the 'net) you will have to upload the picture to a webspace first. You can either upload to the personal webspace that your internet service provider will have provided for you (most of them give you free space) or you can use a website like (I think) photobucket.
Once the image is stored on the internet you can pick up its address and use it as described above.

Me neither. I get options like "save picture as" or "print picture" or "set as background", but nowt like wot you get GC

I don't get a list like GC's either. Perhaps it depends what OS you're using, I'm Windows 2000.
However...
If you right click on a picture it should say 'properties' at the bottom of the list of various options. Click on that and the image address is in there. You can copy and paste it into your post from there.
Works for me anyway :)

I guess it's one of the drawbacks of having used the same OS for years, in my case Win98SE, that I don't know much about more modern OS's.
I assumed that the same level of functionality would continue with subsequent OS's, but then we are talking about Microsoft ::)
