44 years young today ;D
-
Congratulations old chap. What's the plan tonight? Slippers, cocoa and getting settled down in time to listen to the Shipping Forecast?
Mind you, when Charlotte Green reads the SF, it is a thing of joy. As Dead Ringers parodied it once: "Rockall, Shannon, Fair isles, picture me in PVC, temperature rising".
I digress, many happy returns (you old fart) ;D

Your book's on its way.
What book is that:
Crown Green Bowling Highlights 2007-2008?
The 'Which' guide to knitted sweaters?
Drive the Caravanners Way - no need for speed?
The Tarten Car blanket Guide (Plaid to be Grey)?
Oh the list goes on and on ;D

Happy birthday, again! Next you will be telling me you have one a year??
-
Thanks guys, and congrats Jules & Viv ;D Obviously a lucky day, the 8th of November.
Had a book, some chocies and a tattoo for my birthday. The local scouts have put on a bonfire and firework display for me this evening, then it's off to the pub before heading back to base for a late supper with friends.
As birthday boy I get the chair nearest the fire and I don't have to share the blanket. I've a stick to prod the help should I need more tea or the chamber pot needs emptying and I'm aloud to soak my bread & butter in my tea so the crusts don't hurt my gums. Does life get better than this?? :-*

You see , this is what happens when you go to bed and leave an infant playing with your computer.
Pat , as you see , just because you're forty four ,deep down you are still young at heart .
Love peace and bananas ,

Slightly late, but Happy Birthday. Hope you had a good one.
So, what does a discerning gentlemen get for his birthday these days?
BTW, am I still in the younger end of the membership (only 34, its the mileage not the age that makes me look this way!)?
