I just got home from completing a Lands End to John O Groats and several places in between (2190 miles) run and decided to take the advice of many and ride the coast from John O Groats around the top and west coast down to Ullapool. This road is made for bikes its 150 miles of motorcycle heaven. If anyone gets the chance give it a go

Did you get the Franny Barnett ready in time or did you use the Dommi?
Are you going to the annual rally this year? I'm going over sometime on friday afternoon if you fancy a ride. I'll give you a call.

Hey! That's my piccie >:( Well at least it's very close to it. Parked Dolly in almost the Identical spot when I did a john o groats to Landsend run. You're right about the roads too. Bluddy marvelous. But you missed a trick not getting Smudge and Bill involved. Got to be Scotlands greatest tour guides ;D

Thank you for your kind words. Smudge and I are actually spoilt rotten for choice and we know it!
Northerly winds at present and some people have the fires on at night, just to take the chill off.

Like Bill, there's generally a cuppa available here, along with some of the best roads in Britain ;) ;D

Some lovely pics guys, I'm smiling all over again. Going to dig out my photo album of that trip later and raise a glass of Oban to you both. Thanks again for a memorable trip and here's to the next one ;)

Well done Ken (and Pat, again)! That's an excellent outing on a Domi. I have to admit that if you get the right weather there is no better place than North of the Border; traffic seems to disappear the further North you go. I will hopefully be back up there soon; when do the midges die down?

lol, in the West Coast woods? Never :o across here in the East coast it's rare for them to be out in any numbers... ;)
