Ok, I'm caught in a quandry! Do I take my MZ to the annual rally this year and enjoy the run down and probably do the ride out, but take the bare minimum of kit to make it fun...
or,
Do I take the XBR outfit that I seldom find the time to ride, camp in relative luxury and stay at the campsite throught the day and have a relax and play hf radio in comfort...
Both have their appeal! Ride outs are fun but I already rack up mileage into the hundreds and it all adds to the weekends bills :-\ The outfit has it's advantages but it's not as easy/fun on a twisty road as the solo, on the other hand it would be nice not to rough it for once and I would like to find time to do some dx... ???
I think I'm erring towards taking the XBR for a change, but.....

Take the XBR, when the weather changes your kit will remain dry, you can hide out in it in the rain and have a cuppa, and it wont fall over when you get tired.

Well I for one wont be on any ride out on Saturday. Planning on taking a long, winding route up through middle England on Friday and don't want the expense of even more fuel riding all day on Saturday. Too be honest, I could really do with a day sat on my arse with a good book and no wife or kids nagging me or asking me to fix/move/find anything.

The ride-out will be fairly short but hopefully informative. Have no problem at all with folks doing what they need to do! It's not a boot camp after all, and is supposed to be fun.

Tough question but I'd go with three wheels. There is that laziness of just chucking everything in the chair and heading off that appeals.
