Decided to sort out one of many little jobs tonight...
Going to get the back tyre changed on the MZ (a hundred and how much :o :( ) and swmbo will be away with the car.. so no probs, I'll take the loose wheel to the local bike shop in the outfit :)
But the wheel on the sidecar has been going soft for some months now and really ought to be changed.. so... off to Viking international for a new 4.00 - 8 tyre, £7 something with a tube included :)
Excellent, so I decide to crack this small job and change it tonight, half hour job :)
Wheel off, tyre off, no probs, except the paint is all flaking off the steel wheel... and I know what shards of paint do to inner tubes, so I wire brush it and lots more comes off, so it's out with the power tools and most of the paint and rust is off, but now the wheel needs painted and there's no point just putting a topcoat on to rust, so I undercoat it with finnegans, which will need 24 hours to cure before I put on the topcoat, but I'm working tomorrow night so it'll be thursday, then 24 hour cure for hammerite and my tyre can go back on on Friday...
So my half hour little job is now stretching 'till Friday :o How did that happen...? ::) :D

Isn't that how all 'little' jobs end up?? ??? Problem is, big jobs don't diminish due to any inverse law. :'(
