Hello all,
Odd question here!
Anyone know anything about amps? A friend gave me an amp, which I'm just about to put on ebay for him. I know nowt about it, and info is kind of hard to come by.
From what I can gather its a Power Amp, a Bouyer AS 1065, looks like a PA amp, 60w.
Anyone know anything? It weighs a ton, but I have no way of testing (DIN inputs and 3x mono outputs)
Cheers, any info gratefully received!

Aye Andy,
I copy reply from daughters boy friend who is a guitarist.
Julia says:
doesn't sound like a PA amp apparently more like a guitar amp
Julia says:
he needs to try and fing out if it's a valve amp or a transistor
Julia says:
a valve will got for better money but can be more costly to repair. they give a far better sound though
Try Google for a search on the make and model, should find something.
Are you going to tow behind the Mono after complying with ACU exhaust restrictions? ;) Let yur wind gang free pal!
My regards, Bill.

Aye Andy,
Do a search of Ebay for same or similar so as to suss out the market, should give you some ideas of money required or achievable.
Also more info: Julia says:
barni reckons if the ohms are low about 8 likely to be a bass amp higher above ten a guitar amp
Gigging wi' Whitham and Toseland next! ;D
Regards, Bill.

yep, seen that. But the model (AS-1065) isn't listed.

Done it! There's only one on Ebay worldwide, and its a PA amp (ie for a car) the likes of which corny politicians use to broadcast their message! ;)

Definately not a bass or guitar amp. There is no co-ax input, 4x DIN inputs only. And the outputs are the "wire-clamp" type (know what I mean? Not very clear I know, but they clamp bared wire...)
So not like a bass/ guitar amp...
And I'm pretty sure its not a valve amp....
I can see this going on Ebay with no reserve starting at 99p. Postage would be horrific tho!!
Thanks tho bill, cheers for now, anyone who can help I'd be most appreciative. Off out to build up the head now, complete with shortened collets. (that was hard going, and very very ttedious and time consuming) Nothing else worked- the new (Vmax) valve stem seals weren't filling me with confidence!
