I find getting an MOT done as nerve wracking as going to the dentist. You are paying for pain and fear.

Didn't think your shop was ready to do MOT's matey. Sorry. Next year you can get the chance to run your eye over a perfect example of a lovingly maintained machine.

You're testing the strength of the Celtic brotherhood there boyo  >:(  :) :) :)

Mind you, on the subject of MOTs, it's not uncommon for MOT testers to be presented with gleaming pampered bikes that have a bald tyre or no brake pads left. At least with the year-round biker there's a fair chance that the bike will be legal and rideable.
