Hi all,

does anyone know where I could buy a split clamp to grip a fork-leg to use with a steering damper?

They're 41mm forks.  Any ideas??

Ask Bill over on MZOG, he offered me a damper and clamp when I last saw him. You never know.

if all else fails....there's one on the track bike you are (possibly) going to borrow....you can nick that until you get fixed up with one

over the last few days you have just guarenteed your place in heaven.  Motorbike heaven admittedly, where we shall be riding new Nortons and 1973 Triumph Quadrants.

Andy, I have a 41mm steering damper clamp here... well not here exactly, it's downstairs in an envelope that I will be posting on Saturday morning. In the envelope is another item that I picked up for you, when you get it look at pages 19 and 21.
