Title: MZ PART NEEDED URGENTLY
Post by: mini-thumper on February 24, 2008, 08:12:05 AM
Sorry to be on the scrounge again for Team-Thumper but we desperately need the plastic, under seat, oil tank from an MZ Scorpion (or other model if similar). Does anyone have one? We have been recommended to source this by Tigcraft who think the oil tightness of our seventeen year old frame might be suspect and they say you also get higher HP!

If you can help please drop us a line at:

team-thumper@hotmail.co.uk

Many thanks

Boyd & Andy
(PS Have put this here initially as I'm not sure how many of you read our forum page!)

Well if Mottorad und Zweiradwerke AG can put "MZ" on their bikes I don't think you can blame Boydy for not separating them from with Mottorad Zschopau... especially since one was born of the other according to many sources  ;)

Boyd, bearing in mind timescales it may be worth enquiry about the cost of a new one. They are nothing special so may be reasonably priced.
