Is that a fairing on GC's outfit in the background of one pic?  ???

No fairings, legshields or windshields this winter. I do have this nice Powerbronze fairing that I want to fit, but I am a little reluctant to chop it for the sidecar struts.

It's the details that age this picture: Gardner lid, Fieldsheer MX style boots, Reusch gloves (very early Goretex), Protectorl Rukka copy... oh and a baby-faced GC.

GC, I thought the same about my powerbronze fairing... still unsure! S'funny you should mention cb on a bike, I was going to suggest that if we have a few of us doing the 2010 Elefant we fit cb's to aid us en-route and possibly on the site! (now they don't need a licence and you can pick them up cheap... or borrow them if you know the right people... he says remembering a certain shelf in the garage  ;) )
