Title: Just to remind you of what we have bikes for!
Post by: beeman on January 02, 2008, 11:59:08 PM
Can you remember when the sun shone and you didn't look like michelin man just to stay warm. This video should help to remind you of why we ride bikes.

Also found this with the addition of something metalic scraping on the bends as they get faster.

And this is an SRX commercial! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1V8E5elwR8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1V8E5elwR8)

The message seems to be scoff as much as you can before attempting to kickstart.

Thanks for posting those links Beeman, they exactly convey what thumper ownership is to me (although my riding experience generally also involves rattles and oil leaks).

Aha! I have seen those before on You tube but they still a joy to watch  :D  ;D

Oil leaks? Maybe you should get an SRX rather than an XBR......  ::)

Great vids, Beeman - some of the best I've seen!  Can't wait for the roads to clean up so I can get out there...
Love the first one, 'cos it's just so smooth and is sooo thumper!
The second one - you can actually feel the lurch as chunks of centerstand or something get graunched away....
Thanks lots for cheering up a dull winter day!!!
