I meant to wish you all a Happy New Year but I just got in after a manic night shift and am too knackered to care.

A Happy New Year to to all too. I didn't go out last night for that very reason....too many  chavs out just to get p*ss*d up. Not fun.

I worked in city centre bars for 8 years when I was in my 20s and it always amazed me how the xmas spirit had evaporated by new years eve.

It's easily the most violent night of the year for most pubs and clubs.

I stayed in and, shame of shames, I was tucked up in bed by 11.30, absolutely cream crackered form a hard working day.

I was in bed by about 10.30,going out tonight for a couple of pints though ;D
