I'm planning to build a motorcycle bench. Does anyone know of or have any suitable drawings. I can do the drawings myself but its much easier if someone else has done the thinking first.

Steve, I made one last year using a base from a Hospital bed, it goes up and down holds about 200kg. Maybe you can get one off E bay(well seeing what GC gets up toon E bay, you could be lucky) ANy way if you want a pic or two let me know, it might give you some ideas.

Aye Steve,
Have a look at www.eazyrizer.co.uk or .com.
I have one and it is really good as it takes up so little floor space when not in use, compared with these table jobs! Also I have used it for everything from Aprilia 50RS and 125RS, Duke singles, Bros, SRX, F650 and Suzuki GS600. Lift the bike either by the wheels, one wheel and the footrests or no wheels and by the footrests and under the engine.
I am sure you could make your own similar design, but this is all CNC cut and welded and supplied in a complete 'flat pack' delivered to your door with good assembly instructions. May appear expensive compared with some table jobs, but very adaptable.
Regards, Bill

Sorry Steve,
Try this: http://www.bikelift.com/default.htm
I've just been on the site. 'Old Red' is the model I have, but I haven't checked out the current prices.
Cheers, Bill.
