hi
well i have now fibreglassed the outside of the petrol tank,petsealed the inside and it holds fuel!!!!!!!
but(there is always a but)does anyone know where i can get a new fuel tap?is the xbr fuel tap the same?
does anyone have a picture of one i could look at to compare it too?

www.cmsnl.com (http://www.cmsnl.com) do XBR petrol taps. They're the same as GB500 so i'm guessing they'll do for you too. bloody expensive though. Part no. is 16950-MA2-771. It does for loads of models, I bet you'd get a 2nd hand one for a song if you can find one.

Just been having a browse. The part number I gave you has been superseded by the following...16950-MK6-770.

I don't suppose that helps you very much though. New ones are 97 Euros which is a bit extreme! I'll kep my peepers open for one.
