Oh yes, the infamous Swedish sniper incident. Boyd is seen here being helped out of a watery ditch into which he had dived upon the report of a sharpshooter's rifle... or at least that's how he told it.
Full story (FrenchTrip, the sequel) in the next newsletter.

Aye Andy,
Been quiet, but ceeking! ;)
Sorry that I don't have many spares for the 'Project', but can discuss on other site or 'off board'.
Sleet here tonight at 30m above sea level and wind from the N.
'you up long or just for a wee while to see the folks? I hope they are in good form.
Trying to phsych myself up to enter the workshop for a Morini rebuild, F650 strip/rebuild and Duke rebuild! ::) Spent all weekend on the house roof repairing it ready for winter. Property ownership has its downsides.
Thank you for your concerns.
My regards and a safe journey, Bill.

Aye Andy,
Just read all the info about SRX rebuilds on other threads, no need for me to say anything, :-X all covered and all by people used to thrashing the gonads of said motors!
Keep it clean, take your time, measure and record everything in a book and finish what you started, so that you know 100% that it is tight and what torque. Your neck when you take her to 8K+ down the Norwich at Snetts. Having watched a 450 Duke 'grenade' coming out of Taylor's, as was, at Knockhill, and helped pick up the bits, I wouldn't wish it on anybody. :(
My regards, Bill.
