impressive....no marshals, no medics, no tyre warmers, probably cold tyres....he certainly earned the nickname 'fast freddie'
as an aside, the car was a datsun 280z turbo (or might have been the 3 ltr version)(became nissan over here at about that time) and i had one for a year, and it WENT....i know i never managed to use all its potential, even on a track day
wonder who was driving it, and who was riding the other bike

Well there we go - a "MotoGP" bike without all the aids - so what is this wheelies all over the place, going in to corners off the racing line to pass - oh for the days of screaming 2-strokes

Blinkin' takes me 30 seconds to put my gloves on so I would have had no chance!! :D

Just look at the tyre walls on the bends and small run off areas if it goes wrong. It makes you realise how much safer todays tracks are. Still In my day you were lucky if your jeans were real levis and the derri boots were really waterproof. sigh don't think they were really the good old days after all!
