Title: SRX400 For Sale - Immaculate Twin Shock Kickstart

Hi all.

This will be in the classifieds section soon, but in the meantime:

I'm reluctantly selling my 1986 Yamaha SRX400. The bike is in exceptional original condition. I am the only UK owner, and during my three year ownership it has been kept in a heated dehumidified garage and used on sunny days. Recent full service and MOT by my local bike shop. Nearly new quality tyres. This is the kickstart twinshock model. Blue in colour. No dents, no rips in seat. Totally up together and ready for some sunshine!

Will be listing the bike on Ebay later today, so if anyone's interested then please either get in touch beforehand, or take your chances with the auction!

Took it out for a long ride yesterday and it's as much of a pleasure as ever! My girlfriend is trying to convince me not to sell it...

Haha yep I think so!

I'm quite gutted to be selling it actually, but I can't store it at home so it's been stored in a garage at my parents' house and hence it just doesn't get used. Just can't justify paying out for insurance etc. anymore.

If anyone's interested then get in touch. I'm more interested in it going to a good home than getting a top price for it.

No, the paint is original I think. It's certainly an original SRX colour; I've seen several this colour.

People often think the early SRX400s have been resprayed because they didn't have any stickers or brandname on the tank. They were like that from new.

Glad you like it! Hopefully they'll be someone else who likes it enough to take it away...

The colours original but it would have originally had a Yamaha roundel on the tank

if you want some yamaha log's for the tank/side panels/ tail peice, let me know, got plenty available in gold or original yamaha silver grey.
