Have decided at last minute to give the Donington supermono round a go on my SRX, so if anyone wants to say hello, you will be most welcome, (look in the paddock for a scruffy Grey Renault Master camper/& white topped trailer that looks like something off wagon train?) Bike will be no.22 (white no's on black background/air cooled class)
See you there Boyd!

Went with all the enthusiasm & good intentions but quit again after nearly one lap in prctice!, mooded about for a couple of hours & then at last minute decided to enter the race (after missing qualifying).
Managed to finish the race, so as you personally know, that was a major triumph & I actually got off the bike having enjoyed myself (at last) despite finishing dog last!
Off to Mallory on wed if I can & get some practice in & with luck get my pace up a bit (well, quite a lot needed really!)
Will be doing Mallory supermono round & definately Cadwell now.................
Ps, if I ride next season (+ young John?) we will also have a new rider, Simon, & maybe even one more youngster!

Brilliant, great stuff, glad you made it out!
Also good about next season, let me know what bits you're needing, spoke about tanks etc? Did you get the FZR wheel in? I will probably be getting shot of all my pacers, etc, and re-using the (bare) wheels...
The bike will be broken (up!) after the season. I dont think anyone else is interested in my stuff. Oil tanks for CR33s, and the red tank may be good for you? Also a really nice metallic green one with matching (road!) sidepanels?
Speak to you soon, and I'll see you at cadwell for the morini day with any luck,

The way things are going here, we might have most of the useful srx stuff off you after the season's over! :)

Fastest in untimed practice, then the gear linkage broke in timed qualifying, but my out lap was fast enough to secure me 5th place on the grid, just behind pole position.
Finished 2nd with a best lap time of 1-16.84; not quite as fast as the 1-15-51 I did on a practice day last year on the minimono - but really good for Gordon.
Here is an overview video of the weekend:
