Title: Now I'M A MEMBER!
Post by: KIFESTOOSHORT on July 05, 2007, 10:21:02 AM
Thanks to Patrick for the JOINING PACK, from the post mark it looks as though it was lost in space for a while and not just popping over the bridge! I did not expect a letter in the post, seems very official! Never been a member of a bike club before!! Now I just need to find the bike and get back on the road. thanks again from agent 497.

To fully confirm your membership and to entitled to the full benefits you need to attend the annual rally and stand the first six rounds at the bar.

[Oh! I'm sure I saw in the small print that the card  entitled me to a pint from other members, could be used as a bus pass and road side assistance from the AA!]

What linguistic fun we have!

When you say 'member' I assume you don't mean - n. part or organ of the body?

To qualify for the AA you need to shout very loudly  "My names (your name) and I need road-side assistance!" where upon a St Bernard with small barrel will appear.

I'll get my straight-jacket..............
