Found out apprentice at work looking at this site. Its well worth a look for those with experience and those that want to know.

The section on braking contains every misconception and over repeated rumor I ever heard, although he has had the sense to remove most of the figures people usually quote. The basic stuff might be useful though.

I was looking at more from the perspective of a novice who has little or no knowledge of how their bikes work, as such it is quite a good starting point, and probably enough to allow them to diagnose problems. For example, the section on brake fluid doesnt explain the technical issues with brake fluid particularly well, but does get across the basics and the message that it needs to be changed regularly.
