Title: Mono Treffen Holland
Post by: Steffan on May 29, 2007, 09:52:36 AM
I am thinking of making this my first continental ride - anyone else going.
What's the best very crossing etc.
I am assuming that you all think it worth the trip?

Ta,

Steffan

Hi Steffan, Steve & alan from Huddersfield will probably be going. Boyd & I intend to go. Best crossing depends on how much you want to pay, where you are starting from and length of stay. Boyd & I will most likely lengthen our stay and do a bit of touring. If you are just going for the weekend and don't mind the expense, the catamaran from Harwich to the hook of Holland is very good. Worth the trip? You bet!. Mart

Highly recommended - friendly, knowledgeable & mucho beer!

Give these a try for ferry tickets/info. I've used them several times and their service/price has always been good.

Adendum

Just been to their web site and they are now called: Fairfield Motorsport. They still seem to offer ferry and other travel stuff so give them a go.

Also noticed the last item on their menu: www.welshsingles.com (http://www.welshsingles.com). Is this so we can age date our bikes?

BTW the Cat is off the menu, the crossing from Hook is now 6hrs+, mind you for coming from West Wales no Euro port is exactly handy.
