Title: Cheap Aprilia at Pugh auction
Post by: iansoady on November 17, 2024, 12:34:27 PM
£1,800 hammer price.... I know these Starck designed bikes are marmite and personally I think they're pretty ugly but a cheap thumper nonetheless.

Yes, I must agree with you Ian, i too find them pretty ugly. Like you say though decent, cheap’ish thumper for someone. What engine did they use. Dies anyone out there in TC know. Was it a rotax?
Cheers, Michael

Yes, same engine as BMW F650 etc. I actually quite like the styling!

Isn't this the same engine in the BSA Gold Star 650?

Pretty much the same I think Ian, though given a cosmetic makeover to reproduce the air cooled vibe!
