As a former SS50 lad, it pains me to post this, but...

the short film 'fizzy days' was better but beware its got an earworm piece of title music that youll be whistling for days.....
it was supposed to be a short film to fund the making of a full length feature, but that never happened.

Can't force myself to watch it.
We all had our formative years.
My first bike was a £5 clapped out Tiger Cub.
My favoured younger brother got a brand new Fizzie on his 16th birthday.
We've barely spoken since.

Yes, I'm too old for them - my first bike was a 150cc Francis Barnett Plover which actually was quite a reliable bike, taking me around County Durham to various power stations in my truncated career as a CEGB technical apprentice. I nearly bought a little Yamha instead - can't remember the model - in which case my motorcycling career may have been quite different.

First bike was a 125 Bantam, followed by a home customised Lambretta LD 150. The scooter was brilliant. I then had a Triumph 350 bath tub which I thought was the business. It wasn’t😂😂😂👍

Me, like Matt got a Honda ss50. After owning it for about 4 to 5 months it had some mechanical failure.
Can’t honestly remember what or why now but because my cousin worked for the local Honda dealership it was passed to him to repair. It came back with a  70cc conversion. Again I don’t know how or why, I was 16 years old so didn’t ask questions back then, simply took it and rode it to death. However  I never got blown off by a fizzie or suzook AP50 after that.... happy daze indeedy 😁
Cheers, Michael

Having just read the last couple of posts in the “rants “ section. I thought I had better come back and correct my grammatical error. I wrote “Me” like Matt
That quite obviously should have been “I” like Matt
