I go off on my trip to Lapland tomorrow, back around the end of December, not sure if I will be able to post anything but I should be able to read all the exciting tales you lot can provide me with , to keep me going through the long dark days ! I hope the xbr project goes well, probably finished by the time I get back. I will spend some time deciding what to buy with my ill gotten gains when i get home ...

Safe journey Rufus and hope you have a good trip.

It`s only about -6 at the moment, but should drop down to a balmy -15 in a week or so and hopefully a bit lower, this photo was 3 years ago, -27 (about 130 miles up from Arctic Circle)

Good health Rufus.

Have a good time Rufus, and if you do see Father Christmas, ask him where my bl@@dy Ducati 900SS Mike Hailwood Replica is please? I've been asking for the last 40 years, yet still all I get is damned SOCKS >:(

Hi all ! It’s taken up until now to get connected again, glad to see be project progressing, Lyster velo, phew…. -29 here today , nostrils a bit frozen, looking forward to getting back but sounds like it’s not been motorcycling weather in UK, Cheers 🎅🏻
-
Aye Rufus, glad to read that all is going well.
Temperatures here have definitely put a damper on riding, -7°C last night here, whilst Braemar went to -15.7°C, coldest in UK. Already tonight we are down to -8°C, whilst Glen Doll is down to -14°C and no temperature rise before Sunday 18th!
Watch what you're snorting, nothing worse than the sinuses freezing up.
Good health, Bill

Now that’s me en route to Edinburgh, and back to reliable WiFi !

Aye Rufus, you'll need your swimmers and the temperature will be in double positive figures, with a big thaw on!
Safe landing at Embra.
Good health, Bill
