It's in yer face! Tank reminds me of the Husky Vitpilen and headlight from the Yamaha XSR700. Obviously, more an exercise in design, hence the impractical positioning of the levers (for the photos?) but kudos for the fit, finish and ground-up build. Bit of a shame there's no info on how it rides, or whether it has been ridden.

Er.......NO!

...but I always fancied putting a GN engine in a small trail bike...I think it would make a very nice off roader.

I love my GN250. I loved my last GN250. I loved the GN400 I had before that. The GN lover in me just wants to go and rescue that poor motor from the ridiculous clothing that bloke has draped it in. As a piece of metal sculpture it's not to my taste. As a motorbike it looks like something I made out of lego 50+ years ago. All I can say is I hope the builder is happy with it as ultimately I suppose that's all that matters.

Now I'm off for a quiet cry.

P.S. Thanks for posting it Michael, it has made me more happy with my own GN250.

I think I posted these pictures previously but this was for sale in Ireland a few years back - a DR125 fitted with a GN250 engine. Looks very neatly done and I'm sure it would make a lovely lightweight green-laner

Regards

Tony

I'm with you there Steve that would be a real hoot to ride. Suzuki do a DR250 but I'm not sure if it is the same motor as the GN. I love the idea of a proper lightweight green laner using a GN motor. Come on TC fabricators there's a challenge.
