If the price doesn't get too silly, this'll be a great project...

Well, I've put a bid in. These are great bikes, mine enjoyed the trip to Wetton. If I can get this cheap enough it'll make a decent source of bits. It's nice to know (after experiencing a US import FZR600 a few years back) that the frame won't rot. And the suspension and brakes are over-engineered for what it is. Classic bike road scratcher that can handle (pardon the pun) the bigger stuff round the twisties.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on it just to see what it goes for. I'll not be bidding against you, I'm just interested. I've a feeling it'll go beyond my budget anyway. Looks good though. Good luck.

Go for it, hope it doesn't get to expensive. As you say a good source for spares. Thats what I tell SWMBO when I stray onto ebay.
