Title: GC -please read!
Post by: andy230 on April 30, 2007, 10:35:27 AM
hello mate

Are the club wanting TC vinyls, logos, web addresses etc on the SRX??

I'm off to the vinyl man tomorrow or wednesday, to get them done for snett at the weekend.  Any colour you like, as henry ford said....

And don't fret, I'm reaching into my own pocket   ;)  (sharp intakes of breath all over tinterweb!)

I did say to the guy, "Any chance, if I put your shop logos on the bike..."  He smiled and said Nope!  But was nice enough to say gimme cash and they'll be as cheap as I can.

If you fancy it, can you send me what you want, I'll print it, and he'll scan it.  And an approximate size?

cheers

a

ps.  anyone else??!

I think it would be great to get the logo and web address on your bike.  How much is he charging if we want some more for our own bikes / cars / children?

Good fella, get the text "www.thumperclub.com" printed and I'll be a happy bunny.

I don't think I've got a high res logo image handy, but if I do I'll send it to you and you can use your discretion about whether to use it or not.

Top tip(!) if your office has one of the whizzy dymo printing machines then blag it for 5 mins with the broad yellow/orange tape in and you can print off a label with the club website address... this will then stick on your numberplate neatly and obscure the advertising for whatever buch of cowboys sold you the damn thing ;) sooooo much more stylish, it's this years must have accessory dahhhling...

Will do!  And course I'll use it a TC image.  Are we worried about being seen to be last??  Could do it quite big,  JPS, Airwaves and Virgin are not exactly fighting for space on the fairing  ;)

Cheers

Hey - sponsorship on the last home bike is so much more worthwhile than on the front running bike - you get seen for longer.  The Boss used to recon she got the best value for money from entry fees for Triathlons - she was usually bone last and everyone else had gone home for  the night - but she got hours of fun for her fee.

Only way of getting more viewers is by being at the fron in a TV race - or binning it big time....

DO NOT DO THE LATTER - it may scuff the logo.
