Title: Frame building in your shed
Post by: mthee on April 12, 2020, 10:07:11 AM
Here's a well- shot video, showing an RE getting a hardtail. If you can tolerate yet another presenter in a dodgy cap, you'll see the builder, Craig Jones, doing some measuring by eye and claiming better tolerances than HD! I would love to have a go on one of his RE hardtails, just to see how the ride is  :'(

Aahhh..... so not thee ...Craig Jones of Craig Jones motorcycle stunt fame!!   Ya had me going for a second or two there Matt. Still a very interesting video tho. I enjoyed watching that. Thanks for posting. This Craig Jones defo doesn’t seem to have quite the same “self confidence “ (large sweed) as the stunt rider Craig Jones. There again I bet he can’t ride a bike in quite the same manner either, not many of us mere mortals could  😉😉👍🤘

Just googled thee Craig Jones and see what you mean. Those rolling stoppies! Plus more going down a bumpy, steep hill!!!! He could have adopted the stage name, Craig Cojones! There's one Kevin Carmichael I share a surname with, so in my dreams I'm rather good at stunt riding  ::)

Cojones... 🤣🤣
Yes I remember seeing mr Carmichael looong before he became “famous “ at the Scottish motorcycle show, would have been about 1994/95ish. He was a complete unknown at the time and riding a 1200 bandit. He was doing things on that thing that looked impossible. Very talented rider. The main attraction at the show was a Brazilian (I think) called something like AC fereras. Something like that. Again brilliant to watch live, full vertical wheelie with the engine turned off... NOT easy. Happy daze 😉🤘
