Before I take the plunge and join the club, I just wanted to see if there's any other Suzuki Freewind owners about?
-
Not me I'm afraid but all are welcome :)
-
Not me either - but I seem to be the sole Rotax engine here - and I feel welcome..

I've got a Rotax too (well, a Berlin Rotax if that makes sense). I can't think of anyone in this club with a Freewind but you'll be made more than welcome if you join us.
-
Ahh teh Berlin Rotax's - the more srtraight laced branch of the family, unlike the Noale Rotax's - all flair them..

So Mik - what are you doing to the CCM?
-
Stuart (Glos), there is a new member who has a Freewind in Burton on Trent if you wish I'll get in touch with him if you want some info. Mail back on here if you have any questions as he does not have Internet access but I can call him and see if he wants me to pass on his home telephone number.

Well its already 636cc..have just put some better headers on...need a nice cheap VM44 now to replace the 40mm Dellorto.
-
What cam are you running? What length headers? When you do will you be selling the 40mm Dellorto and if so can I have first dibs?

Its running an 865 cam, not sure what length headers but can measure..all i know is they are a bit more equal length and slightly bigger than my stock ones...and yes I will offer you my dellorto first as you asked so nicely.
PS R have you ever done a clutch on a Rotax? and I reckon we ought to maybe start our own Rotax thread?
-
Not had the clutch apart yet. Was wondering about the headers - need to sort some pipes - kinda taken by the asymetric headers Performance Bikes made for Mark Forsyth's Rotax racer - got good power and spread apparently.
Cannot decide on an 860 or a 675 cam - have both.
