Title: Things to do.

My XBR was wanting a new rear tyre for the next MOT. So having plenty of time on may hands -Change it myself. I have bought a tyre on line a Maxxi Promaxstreet. Never heard of them before but the reviews looked good. I then ordered a set of tyre levers/spoons, made a jig to lay the wheel on and proceeded to remove the tyre. Not having a bead buster to get the tyre off the rim I got a G clamp and managed to get the tyre off. The new one went on a darn site quicker than getting the old one off. No soap was used in getting it on and pumped up and is holding pressure. Job done and feeling chuffed at the thought of the money saved. Next job, MOT, runs out on the 28th this month. Of sh1t they are closed so does this mean I cant ride my bike.
