Good Spar shop in Sedburgh, that's where I will be stocking up as I will need Lumpwood charcoal as well. I usually shop there rather than carry loads of booze,........and there is a really nice ride there as well. Takes 10 min.

If I'm not working I'll be away on my bike camping!

OK, so I'm here! Well, I'm somewhere anyway. Sat outside the heritage centre having a coffee. I went to the map ref and it took me up a steep farm track. I stopped and asked at a house half way up and they said there was no Campsite up there, and they'd seen no bikes...

My weekend has been rescued courtesy of Mr Martin Fox who came to my aid and cured the problem with my ailing XT. I will be there tomorrow although the contin ued lack of traffic on this page about the rally does make me wonder if it is actually happening. Particularly the comments from Mr Crazy Frog on his Jawa 350. I will check the page again in the morning before setting out so Steve if you are there mate please clarify....................

Not sure what map ref you're using but if it's any help, this one got me there in one piece last time:

Conder Farm
Dent, Sedbergh LA10 5QD
015396 25277

I'm still going. Dropping the dog off at kennels first thing in the morning, packing and sorting the bike then taking the scenic route through the Forest of Bowland (should take me about 2 hours). I should be at the camp site for around lunch time.

There's about 7 or 8 of us at the moment Cliff, expecting another 6 or 7 tomorrow. I was 1st to arrive, hence lack of bikes. D'oh...

Morning Campers!  ;D

Best wishes for an enjoyable bash and blether. Thick mist, wi' a touch of drizzle up here, but a certain warmth that could bode well for later. Your 23°C looks tropical compared with our 13°C at 09:00hrs!

Slainte, Bill

I am on the 4 PM ferry from Dover to Dunkirk now, could drive on board directly at arrival in Dover. 1 stop to gas up and a coffee just north of Milton Keanes. Had a good run so far and the Tenere never missed a beat, as usual.
Thanks everyone for another great weekend. Hope to see you all again soon!
Arn: great to hear that your emergency repair worked a treat!

Yep, great weekend all round, even the weather wasn't too bad! Thanks again to Steve for organising everything, and to everybody who turned up and made it such an enjoyable weekend. The only thing missing was the cream tea on Saturday, but apparently you can't have everything, at least according to Mark that is.  ;)

Home now. Quite tired!
Thanks to all who came to make a great weekend.
Hope you got home OK Harry
Good food, good Craig, plenty of beer and reasonable weather.
Campsite clean and tidy, thanks for keeping it that way.
Here's to the next one.
