TT meet
« on: April 24, 2007, 05:30:39 PM »
I've managed to get our ride out on to the main social calendar for the TT.
http://www.iomtt.com/TT-2007/Social-Calendar/Social-CalendarP4.aspx
So it is now an official TT event.

I'll be on the Island but have not decided which Bike i'm taking.

Could be the KTM LC4 640 Supermoto, which is why i am on here !

or the BMW 1200 GS with 17" Wheels/Remus Exhaust ( Supermoto. . on Steroids . And it was done before the Megamoto was announced)

or the 166.6 BHP/95.4 lbs Torque ZRX 1224 as seen in Dec 06 Streetfighters Mag.

I'll keep you posted.

By way of an update,i will be taking the BMW to the TT.This is because ; 1/ i have not had time to fit the Ti Akra system to the LC4 SM (and i've picked up a flat-slide carb for it too,so they'll get fitted at same time as i'll need Dyno set-up ) and 2/ i got nicked at 111.2 on the ZRX and need to behave !!

Back from the Island at Six this morning, straight into work for 9 after a five hour ride home.  Now knackered.

An otherwise excellent TT marred by the deaths at the end of the Senior.  Succesfully met up with Beeman several times and was unwise enough to follow him over the Mountain in heavy mist on Mad Sunday.  Terrifying when you've never been over before, much nicer later in the week when the Mountain was closed and he led me on at Gooseneck for an empty track.

I shall send in a few photographs of him knackering the clutch on his SRX at the Ramsey sprint.

High points.  The 130 mph lap and the Purple Helmets.

Sir
That was no heavy mist but a little harmless sea fret!
Try the same at night in the pouring rain and low cloud, now that is exciting.
Glad to see all club members made it safely home.

Yours I presume? I didn't think the old Fokker would hold those sort of speeds

Ha Ha.  The only way the Fokker would do that is if I pushed it off a cliff.

Thank you - hate to think that they may believe that I have forgotten them.  Friends Dad used to race the IoM in tha late 60's early 70's and he told me the first thing you must do is go and say hello - try to every time.
