It being a big single, could be loose connection/vibrations at the lamp holder. Or water getting in. Or a short on that circuit. Or cheap/ wrong wattage bulbs or fingerprints on the glass overheating it. Best of luck.

Aye Dan,

Agree with mthee.

Sally had phases of repeatedly blowing random indicator bulbs. Cheap Chinese bulbs and intermittent electrical feed appeared to be the causes (corrosion and worn insulation). I chose to buy heavy duty (HD) filament bulbs and replace the original indicators with rubber stemmed 'shorty' indicators from Vehicle Wiring Products (VWP) (Link:Vehicle_Wiring_Products) and new wiring/connectors from the loom. This appeared to resolve the problem. Fitting L.E.D. indicators/bulbs would also take away the 'flaky filament' weakness of bulbs and give 'brighter' indicators, but would require the fitment of a suitable flasher unit.

Take your pick. I hope this helps

Good health, Bill
