Aye Dan,
Agree with mthee.
Sally had phases of repeatedly blowing random indicator bulbs. Cheap Chinese bulbs and intermittent electrical feed appeared to be the causes (corrosion and worn insulation). I chose to buy heavy duty (HD) filament bulbs and replace the original indicators with rubber stemmed 'shorty' indicators from Vehicle Wiring Products (VWP) (Link:
Vehicle_Wiring_Products) and new wiring/connectors from the loom. This appeared to resolve the problem. Fitting L.E.D. indicators/bulbs would also take away the 'flaky filament' weakness of bulbs and give 'brighter' indicators, but would require the fitment of a suitable flasher unit.
Take your pick. I hope this helps
Good health, Bill
